Julius Müller, a former genecist, is a free-lance genealogist and director of Müller & Hönig. Julius lectures and publishes on Jewish family history topics (Avotaynu, Maskil, Stammbaum) and is a contributing editor to Avotaynu. He is a former chairman of the progressive Jewish community Bejt Simcha in Prague.
He is also director of Toledot, Jewish Family History Center in Prague, Czech Republic. He established the center in 2001 as a public interest institution. Its mission is to collect and inventory the records of Jewish interest in the Archives of the Czech Republic as well as digitize the records for online studies. Toledot was the recipient of the Stern Award in 2006 and the recipient of the grant from the Endowment Fund for Holocaust Victims, Prague.
